rolfing
2006-05-08, 4:04 p.m.

ive got into this rolfing thing.

humans are pretty much the only animal that holds onto stress paterns in muscle.

rolfing realigns the body and releases these memories its pretty intense as ive been re visiting some deep trauma, infact some trauma from a child i never even knew about until the combination of rolfing and my work and reading books on trauma play.

one of the more interesting books ive read for work is "too scared to cry" although i dont agree with some parts overall it explains a lot that expalins a lot of my issues and bizare behaviours.

theres something pretty awesome about working in wilderness therapy. besides getting paid to hang outside. i get therapy i think im resolving my issues. i also get to move to a huge lake this summer for my weeks off. back to the issue thing, its nice to be free from emotional burdens i think rolfing and wilderness therapy - real wilderness therapy not behaviour mod bootcamp but assertive communication therapy- should be required for everyone
